This piece has been inspired by the Rainbow of Hope campaign and recently started Love for The Lost campaign, running during the Corona virus pandemic.
The Love For The Lost is a recent campaign in the last few days, to share yellow hearts for those who lost their lives to the virus, creating a visual for those sadly passed and stop them just becoming a statistic in the pandemic.
These situations and experiences will no doubt have an effect on so many of us and our mental well being. So I want to help those with such challanges but supporting a campaign know as Branching Out.
With a focus to the one closest to my home situated Blarbuie Woods. I will be donating £2 from every heart in this design to them. There is no denying that this horrible pandemic will have an effect on so many peoples mental health and well being.
By getting people back to nature, Branching Out helps to tackle the problems people face with anxiety, depression, isolation, and other long-term conditions. People overcome their problems together with support and teamwork out in the woods. Whether it’s through cooking food on a camp fire, building a shelter, walking, tai-chi or mindfulness, the natural landscape provides the perfect backdrop for encouraging an enhanced quality of life, engagement in social activities and peer to peer support.
