This piece has been inspired by the stay at home and rainbow of hope campaigns, running during the Corona virus pandemic.
Feeling lucky to have that safe space to stay at home in during these strange and unsettling, I decided I wanted to create a piece that would help those in a less fortunate situation.
This piece seemed suitable with its little house icon, to create and a donation from each heart sold go to MoMa. A charity local to me in Lochgilphead.
Moving on Mid Argyll (Mo-Ma) is a charity set up to ease life a little for those who find themselves homeless or in other difficulties. With this £2 from every heart sold, with this design, will be donated to their charity.
This little heart measuring 80 mm in height and 60 mm across, shows a sweet little house design, with a bright rainbow of hope above.
Made from kiln fired and hand pained glass, in my garden studio, Argyll.
Strung with 3 mm satin ribbon and finished with one of our etched wooden logo tags.
Each will vary slightly due to the handmade nature of the item.
